Fern's Christmas

I am SO EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS! So, This year we went with the "want/need/wear/read" theme. I like this theme because, not only does it create a variety of gifts (not just toys), but I feel like in the future she won't be so inclined to expect sooo much for Christmas. I feel like so many children have this feeling of entitlement, and Christmas is the time to get what I want. I just want her to know that we give her gifts because we love her, not because she's earned them, and also that Christmas isn't JUST for getting stuff. 

With that said, I still totally got her more than 4 things. Let's review shall we? 

Want: Biggie sweatshirt by PassiveJuiceMotel (also a "wear", but T and I really wanted it. So therefore, it qualifies as want. 

Need: Navy polka dot lunchbox by Old Navy (we're growing out of the diaper bag ::tear::)

Wear: Oasis Mocs by Faas, and mustard tribal headband by Baby Jules Boutique

Christmas Wishlist

Holy Moley, ya'll. Christmas is knocking at our door! My main squeeze, went Black Friday shopping with me, and bought me a kitchenaid mixer! I've been wanting.. no no, NEEDING one of these puppies for like.. 5 years. Probably longer, but I didn't even know i needed it at that point. He got me one! I've already used it. What's a girl to do?

My Christmas wishes have been completed. But is a girl ever really done shopping? So, just for funsies, I've put together a couple of boards, for my Christmas wishes, and for Fern's. This post will replace my usual "Etsy Favorites" post, I've been doing.

Learning to count with Mr. Darcy and the like...

I've been collecting these sweet BabyLit color and counting primers by Jennifer Adams for a while now, and I think it's safe to say I'm obsessed.. I hope Fern loves them as much as I do. What better way to learn your colors and how to count than with some of the literary classics? (not to mention the art throughout is adorable.) I hope Fern realizes what a cool mom I am. ;)
